Michelle Houle
"Complex presentations deserve complex understanding."
Michelle has deep clinical experience working with some of the most complex and underserved populations in mental health — including individuals with Dissociative Identity Disorder, co-occurring disorders, Serious and Persistent Mental Illness (SPMI), personality disorders, and acquired brain injury alongside developmental and intellectual disabilities. She also brings specialized training in forensic mental health, working at the intersection of the legal system and psychiatric care.
Her approach is trauma-informed at every level — not as a framework applied from the outside, but as a lens that shapes how she listens, responds, and builds trust. Michelle's work is grounded, direct, and built for people who have often been misunderstood or underestimated by the systems meant to help them.
